Keeping your information safe and secure is extremely important to the MASSB Foundation. When you donate to our organization, you can be sure that your transaction is secure and your information will not be shared with anyone else. The MASSB Foundation respects the privacy of all donors, and we are committed to transparent and responsible data practices.

Privacy Practices

• The MASSB Foundation does not sell, trade, or exchange donor information with any third-party organizations. We also do not send mailings on behalf of other organizations.
• In most cases, donor information is not collected directly by the MASSB Foundation, as checks are typically deposited directly in our account.
• If donor details are shared with us, they are not used for solicitation, are not stored in any donor database, and are maintained only as necessary for basic financial recordkeeping.
• Donors may request to review or remove any limited information we have on file by contacting us at massbftreasurer@gmail.com.

Security Practices

• Checks are only deposited at M&T Bank branches.
• Internet donations are processed securely through PayPal and deposited directly into our account.
• Access to donation records is limited to select officers and directors of the MASSB Foundation.
• Any donation-related forms or documents are kept in a secure cloud location (Dropbox).

Refund Policy

If you made a donation in error, we will be happy to help you. Please contact us at massbftreasurer@gmail.com to request a refund.

PayPal Processing

Internet donations are processed securely through PayPal and deposited directly into our account. PayPal’s Buyer Protection, Fraud Protection, and Data Encryption policies are available on their website.

Financial Statement

A copy of the most current financial statement is available at Candid (GuideStar) or upon request by contacting MASSB Foundation, P.O. Box 2351, Annapolis, MD 21401.

MASSB Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (Tax ID: 26-1192752). Donations are tax deductible within the limits of current Federal and Maryland state law. MASSB Foundation does not provide goods or services in return for your contribution.
